I really like this guy, what do I do?

I've known this guy for a while and he's one of my brother's best friends. We've both said that we like each other but sometimes I feel like he doesn't like me back. Ex) We were on the phone talking one night and he started talking about this other girl that asked for his number and it kind of made me upset. What should I do?

I will never understand why people beat around the bush. Just tell him how you feel. You only have 2 options. 1. You want him more then a friend and only friends will never be enough, so just tell him how you feel, What do you have to lose. 2. You really adore him as a valued friend and don't want to ruin that. So forget about your feelings for him. Care for him as a valued friend, leave the relationship out of it. and leave it as it is. He's baiting you. You were talking on the phone with him? Who called who? If he called you, don't worry, if you called him, stop calling him. One way to never be too needy and clingy to a boy is to be busy. Never hang around wating for a call from one, never wait for them to ask you out, go out and do what you should be doing, being with your friends, taking a class to improve yourself, doing volunteer work, reading to the blind, whatever. Nothing says you are desperate more than sitting by a phone willing it to ring. If you want to really get this guys attention, ask him about him when he calls you or talks to you. Ask him questions that require more than a yes or no answer, like what is your favorite color and why? If you were going to ask someone on a date, where would you take them if you really liked them and why? Just think of some goodies and then listen. Not too many guys can resist a chance to be asked to show off a little with a girl. And if he tells you somoen asked for his number, you say "oh my what did you do? Are you going to call her?" and if he says he likes her and is going to call her, he may not be as into you as you think. Although sometimes its better to be a guys friend, because they will go through lots of girls and you will still be their friend, when they mature, when it REALLY COUNTS! he's probably talking about that girl to make you jealous, that's if he likes you..and then again if he really likes you, whats keeping him from asking you out? I think you should ask him openly about his feelings, and you go from there...
