I know this boy who speaks Spanish and I think he is illegal. The problem is, I speak Spanish and my boyfriend does to and my family also speaks Spanish. So who exactly should I report? I am very confused. I do not want to break the law because I am not a criminal. I heard of the phrase "When in doubt, report!" So I want to be a good person, but I am just confused. Can you help me?

RAWR, I am a lady. I am not Mexican, I am Cuban. Mexican starts with M and Cuban starts with C.

Yes the boy speaks English. But I don't know who to report, because I speak Spanish too. Should I report my family and my boyfriend and me? What about the boy?

If his only crime is speaking Spanish....Why? I assume this boy is Mexican.....Why doesn't touch land and "You are in the house" apply to the Mexican also...but unfortunately this is only a privilege extended to the Cubans when in fact the Mexico government is just as criminalistic as the Cuban regime

If this guy is living his own life and not hurting anyone, leave him alone....what harm is he doing by being here? Why do you THINK he's illegal? You all speak Spanish so, I don't know where you're getting this idea from in the first place. If he's a harmful person, then by all means, have him reported but, you have said very little about this person. Just get on with your own life and let others get on with theirs.

Why so hateful? Do an "ilegal person", took your job, because he works much better than you for less pay? Well, go to the fields and try to work for a day, you won't last. This ilegals are the slaves of the new century, that everybody exploits and talks about them, by the way do you know there is a lot of WHITE latinos with blue eyes and DOCTORAL DEGREES? YES pass the laws, and we will be paying double for food and everything else, and see who will be working hard in the fields!

You say you want to be a good person. So, do you think it makes you a good person if you report someone, not knowing how much it could affect his life? You don't know someones background.

How would it feel when someone would report you? Or your family? And where did your family came from in the first place?

Why do you want to report him? Are you mad at him and this is your way of getting back at him. Just because he speaks Spanish doesn't mean he's here illegally. I would change your phrase to "When in doubt, butt out."

So because I hear you speaking Spanish, I should report you? You are such a freakin' ignorant idiot!! Get a life! Sounds like you need something better to do with your time. Try school, it may help out the stupidity in you.

I don't mean to be nasty to you;
I just can't take you seriously, I very much doubt your a female, let alone Mexican - Yeh i have been through your profile.

Just because someone speaks Spanish doesn't make them illegal - You of all people should know that - Stop stirring the pot sweety...

Yes. You can't tell if they speak spanish. The way to tell if they are illegal is when they DON"T know English. So I'm assuming you know English just check everyone else out and report back to us for more advice!!!! Good looking out.

If the guy isn't committing any crimes, I don't feel you should do anything. All he is trying to do is make a life for himself.

Now if he is off committing murders, the faster you can get his azz back across the boarder, the better.

Well Dume, I'd suggest this. Tell your Mom everything. Including why you don't want to say anything, and also why you think you should (that you want to obey the law). Let your family decide for you - that's what they're there for. If you still don't agree, follow your ideology.
