i really like this guy.hes been chasing me forever!we have only kissed recently. we are not dating. it all really casual, ill see you when i see you sort of thing. is he really interested in me?he knows ive just come out of a serious relationship. is he just playing it cool?is it all about the chase?is he just after sex?
this girl was throwing herself at him and he turned her away saying he wasnt interested (i wasnt there at the time but i know this for a fact.this happened before we sort of "got together" and kissed). is this a good sign?

What help do you want? To know if he's interested in you? I'll assume that's it.
Well, it sounds promising.
But think, does he want to have a relationship with you or just have sex with you? Is the chasing ever going to amount to anything?
Have you talked to him and at any point told him you're not ready to date or you're not interested in a relationship? If so, that could be why nothing has happened for him to show real interest in dating you.
It's a good sign that's he's not accepting free sex from anyone else, yes.
Think hard, if you told him you were ready for another relationship, would he cringe or look hopeful? Not sure, try telling him something along these lines, without directly involving him in the question. See how he reacts and gage by that. Or, just have a conversation about it.
I had a similar situation, except when I made a move back, he totally stopped wanting me. Until I hadn't seen him for a year and had finally given up and started dating someone else who I love. Then he saw me and couldn't stop trying to hold my hand and telling me how he made a mistake.
Sometimes guys who chase do it because they don't know what they want and, when they're confronted with it, they don't know what to do with it and turn into jerks. They might come around later but you don't want a guy like that, trust me.

you don't sound mature enough to get in a serious relationship,to me.If you want to date him or hang out with him then that is good.If you want to know if he for real or for sex then try telling him that you are not interested in a sexual relationship right now and maybe consider celibacy for a while,this doesn't have to be true but you can find out a lot about a man when sex is taken out of the situation.try it and see where his head is at and you will either find a good friend that later could be more or he'll step off to find another person for the sex that he's after,pretty clear to me.

I can't believe I'm actually going to say this, but maybe he's a bit of a good guy.
If he knows you've just come out of a serious relationship, maybe he's thinking that, if he pushes you too hard, you might not want him as much as you do now.
The fact that he told someone else he's not interested when she's all over him is a pretty good sign too.

just keep doing what ur doing and he will be eatting out of ur hands in no time. if he only wanted u for sex he would have asked u by now honey. he just wants to see how things go first. i was in the same situation and with in three weeks i got him right were i wanted him and then asked him out and he said yes and we have been together for 15mths

Just make sure you're both REALLY good friends before hand, so if the relationship doesn't work out, you will still have a friend.
