Carlsberg-Tetley
Carlsberg Elephant Beer

Elephant beer is a strong, Bock-type lager named after the beasts depicted on the imposing columns of the Danish giant's historic Copenhagen brewery. I'm not entirely convinced, however, that this example, purchased at Safeway supermarket in the UK, actually left through those gates, since although it claims to be imported, it also carries the legend 'brewed and bottled *for* the Carlsberg breweries'. It has a very intense, sharply herbal hop aroma with a very slightly unpleasant enzymic "rotting meat" note and a distinct whiff of alcohol. The head is only temporary, the colour mid-golden, and it has a full and slightly fruity taste with estery nail-varnish notes and considerable bitterness, almost like a bitter liqueur. The pronounced carbonation gives a creamy texture, and the beer dries rapidly, staying very dry to the mouth-filling herbal hop finish. An intense beer where sweetness is well-counterbalanced by hoppy dryness but there are some unpleasant, artificial notes in there too, and at this strength it could do with a bit more character.

The answer is Amarula, the elephant in the label is running towards you with a tree behind if i remember right.
Think the colours of the label are beige with hint of red, supposed to be african plain.

There is also an elephant beer, however i dont think the elephant is on the label.

I had someone tell me he was considered the "black sheep" in the family. All of his brothers and sisters were alcoholics. Not so bad to be an outcast, depends on what your an outcast from. Ugly duckling suggests growth and potential transition to a beautiful swan. And being silly I consider a virtue. The one that sticks out is cry wolf. It is the only one that involves others in a detrimental way- by erroneously mobilizing there efforts for a illusory threat. Many others have already named several positive colloquial animal expressions. I can add "Happy as a clam". I like it because it seems nonsensical (but then again I have been accused of being as silly as a goose! :-).

Amarula is a cream liqueur made from the Marula fruit. It's South African and is similar to Bailey's Irish Cream, very yummy!
