Religion and science must go hand in hand.
If you choose one of the two, you will become like a bird which tries to soar up with one wing.

I find very few truths in religions. And those truths are usually simple social behavior skills that we pass to our children from good parents and good teachers. Buddism is a nice non-violent religion, if you have to have one at all. But seeking, all by itself, is the best path I've found so far. Your mind is open and you don't toss out ideas until you've given them a chance to be reviewed to your satisfaction. I'm an atheist with an interest in Wicca right now. Maybe I'll find some other truth that leads me down a different path someday, who knows. The important thing is to keep your mind open to learn and experience what life is all about. Peace

The only other source to find truth is in the holy land, Muslims are the ones that are not allowing any one to dig for the truth, they know that if they allow to dig under the wall, that they could find the truth that Solomons temple did exist and that would destroy the Islamic religion, and start a world war.

There isn't any "other" source .... because religion itself is NOT a way to find anything resembling truth.
In fact its perfectly safe to say without a shadow of doubt that religion will lead you as far from the truth as its possible for a human being to go.
The only way to find the truth is through rigorous personal questioning of the Universe on all levels.

Is truth absolute for you? Do you believe with certainty that the truth is that," the bible is the word of God" and that to deny that is a non truth or
a false belief? Is there only one truth for you or is truth actually relative?
Can something be held as truth at one point in time but no longer be true
later?
If truth [ hold the bible as an example for sake of this brief narrative ] is absolute,... ie., only one correct answer to a put question...then I ask you to tell me if a glass that can only hold 100 cc of fluid to its very top
but contains exactly 50cc of fluid, is the truth that it is half full or is the truth that it is half empty?
Is it truth today, as the Catholic church once insisted as truth , that the earth is central, or is it truth, as science has shown that the earth
revolves around the sun.
In the end, in my opinion, truth FOR THE INDIVIDUAL is what the individual CHOOSES to believe. That is so however only as long as that belief works for the individual within the framework of their personal way of thinking. When it clashes with reality then their truth is based only in faith.

The only real way to find 'truth' is to be honest with yourself and your loved ones. Forget religion, it's a crock.
Just live your life to the fullest.
Good luck!

Religion is not the only way to find truth. There's also philosophy, literature, science and life in general. Following a religion, to me, is akin to walking through life wearing blinders. You only see what the one who turns your head allows you to see.

No, religion is not a bad thing though it is good as a reference and guidline. It is more for the masses who are in their early stages of conciousness and from those people come individuals who come to the realisation that they don't neccessarily need religion, they begin thieir unique path to the creator. The truth has always and will always be inside you.

Religion is just a word. Every moment of our lives, everything we do, say, think, feel and experience is an opportunity for insight and revelation. Religion doesn't embody truth, nor does science or philosophy. We can't compartmentalize relevancy. Everything in our experience provides us with a window to understanding.

Knowing God through Jesus is the truth...
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom".
Religion and a relationship with God are two different things.
