English isn't really that easy especially when you are from a place where english is foundationally regarded as a second language. But the truth is that it's the International language, and modern society demands that we have a good, if not excellent use of it. Try to study English language as an appendage to something you love, maybe a game, a novel, a puzzle etc. Get occupied with it. I've found that studying english on its own isn't that much fun. Keep at it though becauz practice makes perf..... Peace

this is really hard especially if you are not living in a environment where in English speaking is common, but there are lots of alternatives in which you can practice, like for me,I enrolled myself into a speech class, this can really help you,you can be trained by professional teachers in terms of the right pronunciation of the words, the grammar and stuff alike, plus read more American pocketbooks,it will not only add info to your knowledge,it will also boost your confidence,or if you don't like Reading very much, watch American and English movies very often,it will broaden your knowledge and you got to be exposed to the differences between the way they pronounce each words..it is really interesting!..and the last, practice your speaking in public, and if you are not that comfortable yet, practice your skill in front of the mirror, this will help you be more comfortable in using English language in talking to people, you will feel less embarrass, you get to know how your body reacts during this conversation,so that you are aware not only with your verbal but also to your non-verbal responses as well..this will help and make you feel comfortable in conversing the foreign language and using it,too.
well, good luck! and don't be afraid to come out of your shell, you might never know how many doors of opportunities will open up for you!!
*wink*

By talking to people who speak English, preferably as the first language. I beleive it is the most difficult of all the languages to learn and societal context is important to gain understanding. Another good way to improve English is to sing? Songs can offer that context in which the words are used?

Mix around with people who speak english and able to get them to correct you - just like any other language. Live with British in London is just one of the ways.

While you are on the internet go to www.npr.org and click on "Morning edition" or "All Things Considered". You can listen for free and you'll begin to learn more words.
