You need to use a special shampoo or conditioner made for dandruff & dry scalp, you have both. My mom has the same problems and says Head& shoulders brand works (but use their conditioner not just the shampoo) or maybe you want to go with a more expensive brand that you think will work better. But I reccomend a serum for dry scalp. Or maybe you can use Sunsilk. I use that brand for Anti-Flattness and it works. It also has a a product called Hydra tc or something like that has conditioner, shampoo, and a serum.

You shouldn't put oil in your hair.

I don't mean to offend you but you could have lice.
But more likely it's dandruff.
Your diet also plays a big role in your health. Drink more water, eat more fresh foods. Use a dandruff shampoo.
If your taking medication that could also be why.
Going to the salon for deep conditioning is great, But you can also do that at home. Nothing makes your hair grow faster - just time.

My Dermatologist told me that flaking and scaling and dandruff on the scalp is not a sign of a dry scalp but of an oily one that is just trying to shed oil. I use anything that has zinc pyrithione based and is about 2% of that ingredient or more in it. I also have a prescription med that the doc gave me that has about 10% zinc pyrithione and that keeps me flake free for weeks whenever I use it just once!

Why haven't you asked your beautician? You could be allergic. The processes used may be too much for your hair and scalp. Ask those who woould know and leave this forum for more simple things.
