I got the source from the above website..
I was very taken aback when I read this:
"It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord, thy God."
In this chapter we read that the Devil actually carried the Messiah, and took him from place to place. How can the Devil carry God? Glory be to Allah; He is above such blasphemy!

I remember my church pastor said that God's spirit is in Jesus himself, that was why when pple bowed to worship him, he wasn't at all rejected to it.

I was also unsure for Jesus love when I read this:
Matthew 15:22-28 -
Then came she and worshipped him, saying, 'Lord, help me.' But he answered and said, 'It is not meet to take the children's bread and to cast it to dogs.'

And she said, 'Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.'

Then Jesus answered and said unto her, 'O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whol

And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.' "

In this story about a woman from Canaan there are noteworthy points:

(1) Lack of mercy and love charged against Jesus (if the incident is reported correctly).

(2) Degraded discrimination in regard to the uplifting of his tribe and not for the others.

(3) Tribal pride of descendance and prejudice against others and calling them dogs.

(4) An ignorant polytheist woman debated with him and won him over.

When Jesus entered the desert, he entered as a man and not as God. It was at that point that Satan tried to tempt him, due to his potential weakness. Jesus showed us that even the weakest man is stronger than Satan if he trusts in God.

My comments are only on the passage about the Canaanite woman.

In the early days of the Church, there was a big disagreement over whether to go out and preach to the Gentiles. This (and other things in Matthew such as the Roman soldier who asked Jesus to heal his daughter in Matthew 8, 5-13) reflects that struggle. Remember that the gospel of Matthew was written down long after Jesus no longer walked the earth.

Luckily love won out over racism -- which gives me hope that the church continues to be inspired by the Holy Spirit. Now we call our church "Catholic" which means "universal" -- open to everyone on earth -- and we teach our children that God is our loving Father -- we're ALL Gods children and he loves all his kids the same.

This story should be read in the context of Jewish society at that time -- Jews weren't even permitted to enter the house of a non-Jew or they would become ritually "unclean." Their understanding of being God's chosen people, a holy people set apart, was sort of at its most racist at that time, and in the context of their own history of being persecuted and massacred over the previous couple of millennia, it's kind of understandable.

This story was written for the purpose of winning over the hearts and minds of those people who really did consider Gentiles to be pigs and dogs. Jesus points out that the roman soldier who works for the oppressor and the polytheist woman who worships and makes sacrifices to idols can have great faith, and God blesses them for it.

How many people of faith on Y!A condemn the atheists on this site? Some Christians, and some Muslims, too, have given up reason and descended into namecalling. Poki Poki, your solid Muslim answers are usually pretty good and they make me think, but lately you've been adding "GFY" at the end. How many people of faith on this site have called others pigs and dogs and other slurs? How many insults have been tossed at the atheists? They are searching for Truth -- that's why they're here on this site. God honors them for their sincere search, as Jesus honored the faith of the Roman soldier and the Canaanite woman.

The Bible is a combination of many kinds of writings -- some literal, some not. I hope this particular piece is not a direct quote from Jesus but rather a story to teach a lesson. And after a few weeks of Y!A I can appreciate the point that the Bible makes in these passages.

In everything Jesus Christ did, it was in the honor of the Father. He is the great Jehovah of the Old Testament and our Savior and Redeemer in the New Testament. Being the God of this earth, he shares omnipotent power with the Father in heaven as the second Holy Entity in the Godhead.

All religion is blasphemy, just accept it and more on. You will be a better person with better morals in the end.
