I totally think so. How can you justify "having faith" and financially planning? Did Christ financially plan? Or his disciples? For more than money for ministry? But of course we all know we must financially plan, or else be headed for disaster. Another example of difficulty of interpretation.

the whole notion is to be focused in the Now

give no thought for the morrow

don't hassle yesterday

stay focused in the Now

if i am taking care of business in the Now then the future will take care of itself and the past will only be a vague memory

No. To me it means don't get ahead of yourself. Live in the moment. You know how you get to daydreaming or worrying, and you're thinking about what's going to happen tomorrow in this situation or that?

It's not about taking logical and necessary steps, it's a Zen thing.

no, it's against the idea of "faith". Christ was teaching us about faith.. knowing that whatever happens in life, God is there already. he takes care of everything that belongs to him.

No. It is against the idea of worry and lack of faith. He is trying to point out that you can turn to Him since he knows what you need (not want) and will provide.

its true that christ said those words. but christians and church always misunderstood him. i dont think there is any christian who understood jesus christ. its a shame that their only contribution is conversion and loot in the name of religion.

i hope a few got the point. where i am pointing. well then you are lucky. there is time left to correct that.

This is saying don't wait until tomorrow to do what needs to be done today. like accepting him has your Lord and Savior for tomorrow may not come for you.

He wasn't talking to US, he was talking to His Disciples. Read the Bible a little more.
