Hi! Many artists base their lyrics from their experiences in life, life is a wonderful gift that we are blessed with, some of us may differ with that statement as life hasn't been all that good for them i.e. some of us were privildged enough to have had a good life while others had to endure difficult situations and circumstances. but life is what you make of it, if you approach each day with a positive attitude then life will be good. "life is a song, sing it" life is what you make of it, if you decide that you want to be successful and work hard to achieve your success then you deserve it but if you don't have goals in life then you will not enjoy the true simple joys of life.

i think the answer to this lies in the phrase (sing it). What i assume is that if we tried to sing an Elvis song, we could get an approximation of his tones and styles and thus there would not be a great diversity from the original. As "life is a song" has no reference point, everyone would sing it differently thus exposing the diversity of life itself. Hence no two lives are the same

A song has a begining and an ending. Similary life has a begining and an ending. Just like a song which contains all emotions from good to bad to evil and from joy to happy to sad to torture so also the life has that is why they state that brother sing a song which reflects the true sprit of life.

Life can be a happy song or a sad song. It is up to you to decide if you want to go through life with a positive attitude or a negative one. In other words you can live your life in a way that is good for you and everyone around you (positive upbeat song) or in a way that makes everyone around you as miserable as you are (sad, morbid or hurtful song). Also, you may point out that everyone has their own likes and dislikes musically so the song you live is as unique as you are.

Hi,
My own understanding of this is that when a song is sung it comes to life. Written on paper a song is only half experienced, sing it and the full meaning is received. An metaphor bascically saying "Live your life to the full!" and take what comes.

life is a song because it has a beginning , a middle and an end.
Sometimes the performance goes well and sometimes it doesn't.
Different songs have different personalities just like people, some happy and some sad.
like life we are here so why not give it your best shot and sing that song out loud and clear.
Keith.

Hi,,, hmm,,,, sounds like a philosophy class subject that or Logic..
Life is a song only if everything goes your way the way you want it to..all the time..
Which on the other hand will never happen because life in reality is not a song to be sung...
You can pay me for this one !!!!!!

Life is a song.............sing it
Life is a game............play it
Life is a challenge......meet it
Life is a sacrifice........offer it
Life is a love................enjoy it (author unknown)
Comparing life to a song, it can be the many ideas for a song you never developed, or the singing you have enjoyed in others, it can be under rehearsed, on a broken record. But the advise is to live life to the full, to do the best you can with a song..... sing it.
