i am in love with my ex fiancee and i just dont know how to move on,we broke our engagement due to family disapproval because we are from different races and religion.he is pakistani and i am African.i have tried moving on but i just dont know how i cant seem to get him out of my system.we have tried cuttin down communication but that has been fruitless.i wanna move on with my life how do i do it?

one day at a time and it will take a long time you have to go out meet a new man well try to just don't sit at home and think about him go have fun go any were you can to get your mind off him get a pet start a new life sorry for you good luck

Honestly, I can't realate to the reasons you broke off your engagement, but I can relate to the pain. I say just take it one day at a time. For me, it all comes in waves. Somedays I'm fine and don't think about it and other days I'm not so fine. I'm still in love with my ex. The difference in this case is that he told me he's not in love with me anymore. It's hard, but you'll get through it one day at a time.
