I don't believe in it. The Bible warns against it. If you want some more info, send me an e mail and I will send you scripture.

The bible tells us there are false prophets in the world. There is much false religion. There are people who claim to be chrisitan, but don't know what true christianity is.
There are times mentioned in the Bible when someone would seek counsel from one of those type you described and God was much displeased.Beware of palm readers and those with that type of spirit, even if they say they are christian, because they are of another kind of spirit, not of God.
Once my mother went to a palm reader who told her different things and told her she would have a flat tire on the way home; she did have a flat tire,it had a cut in it.Probably the palm reader had someone put a cut in it while she was in palm readers office.

Hi
As believers in the bible (God), the bible says that such demonic sources as youve mentioned hold power. So believing them is a possibility however, when opening occultic doors into your life and families around you etc(they will be affected by your tampereing) it is not wise at all.
SINCE....you acknowledge or not, that the evil side has power-THINK ABOUT THE REALITY OF JESUS AND HIS ABSOLUTE POWER?!
GOD CAN SAVE, AND THE DEVIL WILL TAKE AWAY YOUR SOUL...that is influence you and others to sin and bring harm to others (when you least expect it)
alright, well take care and at least consider the outcome from both sides. YOU CAN ONLY BE ON ONE.

It's funny how the Biblical literalists reject horoscopes when, according to Genesis 1:14: "And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:"

"Religious" lady may be right, but did she say she was a Christian? Even Wiccans follow a "religion" (which is a set of rituals, rules and traditions often made by man). If she calls herself a Christian, she is one of the many who just want to have a foot in 'both camps' and therefore stand no-where. Christian is about a relationship with the Saviour Jesus... and you'll know them by by their everyday witness.

Your lady might have professed to be Christian but the Bible is clear that those practicing such things will not inherit God's Kingdom. How sad that some people choose to give God a bad reputation by practicing such things.

I believe there is some power involved in them, yes. It is not however, the kind of power that I want in my life. They are counterfeits of the Real power of the Holy Spirit in my life. The power of faith transforms lives it doesn't just predict stuff.
Don't settle for something that is a shadow of the truth, but find the real overwhelming love that is Jesus Christ.

God makes it clear in the new testament that we are to stay clear of people who try to tell us our future. Only God knows what our future holds.
Horoscopes, tarot cards and stuff like that are straight from satan and his fallen angels.
I would be leary about this "religious" lady. Anybody can quote scripture. Even satan!

Such things are just superstitions.
The belief in God is conscious knowledge and resolution to do His Will which is clearly revealed in the Holy Books.
