I mean ive been let down so many times in my life and im sure that ill be let down many more times. by my family, women who i thought were kool but ended up being not so kool, old friends, and many others.
i believe the only way to earn someone's trust is to ALWAYS DO WHAT YOU SAY YOU ARE GOING TO DO. so if you tell someone you are gonna take out their trash, you have to do that. if you tell someone your gonna assist them in something, you have to live up to your promise.
i think many people out there have self esteem issues. men because we tend to act before we think. women because they contradict themselves (especially when it comes to what they say they want in a man.) so in conclusion i think the reason why its hard to trust people is because many cannot trust in themselves. what do you think?

I think one point you almost got onto was how some people say the are going to do something never meaning to do it just because it makes the other person happy at the time. Most people are interested in the now, not the later. I agree that many people can't trust themselves, they lack the ability to see the full commitment of relationships, not just sexual, but any relationship, and would so eager ^&)% someone over for their own happiness then to worry about another persons feelings. You just have to have faith is some people and understand that you can't have faith in all people, sadly its the people you want to have trust in that fail you. There are people out here who you can trust, you just have to look for those needles in the haystacks to find them.

well, I think you have a great argument.
and I can relate to you. I have been let down by everyone. There is not a person I consider close that has not let me down at one point or another. Yet I could not blame them for all these little mistakes b/c I know I have done the same things before. I don't trust people not because I have low self-esteem but because I trust myself enough to not depend on other people. This way I can control my own happiness.

this is only one oppinion but I hope it helped =)
hope w/e this is about is resolved

believe everone trust no one ... trust is a very strong term and once someone breaks it its extremely difficult to build it back ... but you can spend the rest of your life not trusting people ... its easier to believe people .. that way even if they fall short of the 'trust' you are not very hurt ... take baby steps .. dont trust people completely with your life ... at the same time give them a chance ... also i agree the way you feel about urself is the way you feel about others ... so always trust and most importatnyl love yourself ...

you might be on something. me i don't have a lot of trust and it's a hard job when i do have to trust someone i have to put a lot of work in it. Usually I'm so untrustful i let someone down first before they get the chance to let me down. Good Luck
