Hi,
My b/f had a tattoo done in the same place and he said that that the only pain he felt was when the needle approached the area above his elbow. I haven't got a tattoo myself but I think if you like them, as you obviously do, people should let you get on with it. Why did they even bother answering the question if they were just going to be rude?? Good luck with it!

To be honest all tattoos are painful...and depending on where you put it, it could hurt more. I put a tattoo on my right forearm and the outline hurt the most...by the time they finish the outline you are preatty numb so the fill-in will be fine. You will feel umcomfortable. DO NOT DRINK before or after the tattoo for about 2 days. This WILL thin your blood and since tattoos cause you to bleed it will bleed out the ink and it will look like crap!

I have one in the same place that I got earlier this year. It realy didn't hurt much, even though that is a sensitive area. It really depends on the tattoo artist and how deep he's pushing the needle in skin. Hey, if hurts too much, just take a break every few minutes and just sit there. They understand.

Hi. A decent tattooist will aply a numbing cream at least 30 minutes before starting to minimise the pain

You should have known already if you have it done before. Why do you go back for more? Isn't three already a lot? Before you knew it, you could end up looking like a patterned carpet.

i have a star tattooed on my left wrist...it hurt so bad when i got it done. i moved a bit and the artist told me that i did not want to do that. i squeezed my best friend's hand so hard that she said it felt like she was getting the tattoo. i also have one on my back and that was a piece of cake to handle.

I had a tribal band done on my upper left arm and when they got to the inside skin I almost fainted and had to make the artist stop. So mine never made it full circle.

to be honest i think the most important factor when deciding whether to have a tattoo should not be how much its going to hurt, it should be whether you're still going to love it in 1/5/30 years time!
