What was the first religion? Pentecostal was formed on the day of Pentecost.(Acts 2) They may have not called themselves pentecostal, but they did preach speaking in tongues(Holy Ghost) and baptism in Jesus name. I think it was Jewish religion first actually, but they were all Jews and doing only what they knew God ahd told them to do. But what was the second one or watever. Please have scripure to back up your answer!!!

By your rules, Judaism came first. However, when God speaks to Abraham, he tells him specifically not to be like the people around him who worship idols. Therefore, the idol worshipers came first. I am not sure what they called themselves, though.

The first church started with Adam and Eve. There were no Jews or Pentecostal people around in that time.
It was called the church of God. The name has since been changed.
