Interesting question, get it often! I guess you need to bring it back to belief.

Everyone has beliefs, it shapes our convictions and particular philosophical perspectives. Even a belief that there is no God (or Gods or whatever) is belief.

Individuals will gather information as they build knowledge about what they beleive and what they don't beleive. Therefore, whatever religion or denomination a person follows... its their "belief".

If it weren't... they would have another belief. If someone convinces you that your belief is without base, substance or flawed, the process will force you to leave that belief behind and develop new beliefs.

Therefore, even if I were to beleive in fairies and elves (no offence intended, just an example) then I would beleive that it was a true belief, as its what I beleive. And I would defend my right to beleive what I do. So if I were to shape and develop a belief that the Christian understanding of "God" as described in the Bible was true, that would then be the basis of my beleif.

I would see my belief as RIGHT because to see it as WRONG would take me back to the position where my belief was found to be flawed and I would be forced into shaping another one.

For me, the bottom line is, its not so much ME being right, but God.

We have the Power of God to act in His name given directly from Jesus Christ himself.

We have the Gift of the Holy Ghost conferred upon us by one with the Authority to do so (who holds the Priesthood of God) following baptism.

We perform the correct form of baptism, and with the correct authority of God to act in His name.

We have the fulness of the Gospel.

We recieve modern day revelation and are guided and directed by a living Prophet of God who has direct communication from Jesus Christ.

Every other religion has bits and pieces of my religion in them. They have all broken off of the true church of God since the beginning of time, and still continue to do so. My church started with Adam and Eve.

There is much more I could say, too, but my hand is getting tired from all this typing:)

(I have second and third degree burns on my right hand and thumb. Doesn't feel too good).

Well I believe in the Holy Book the Bible and as such I believe in Christianity. Also, there are alot of differences in Christianity that even proves it more to me that it is the true religion and Satan is trying his best to distort it from the original truth. But there is true religion I believe in Christianity, I am biased to the Seventh Day Adventist because they use the Bible and their beliefs line up with it. But I would invite you to search for yourself and use the Bible as your guide.

It's right for ME... and shouldn't EVERYONE feel that way about their religious beliefs? I mean, if you have questions, or doubts or if there are inconsistancies in your religion that you don't understand or approve of, then wouldn't you CHANGE? I am associated with Jehovah's Witnesses, btw! :)

logically there will always be a one and only one supreme being, the Creator, the Exalted, the Absolute.

Its all upbringing. The way a talk is right. The way you talk is wrong. I say pop. Other people say soda. They are all wrong. Ice Hockey is the greatest sport, all others suck. Its all up bringing. and no one is right.

You can never be sure of anything. Humans learn on a day-to-day basis and it's this process than can strengthen or weaken your belief.
