he meant the same colour as the "whites" of your eyes people, and whether it's true or not, it is believed.
Some years back I had to have a "Full Dental Clearance" (no you can't hear all the gory details). what this means is that now my Teeth are like Stars - they come out at night.
Anyways, one of the things they do when manucfaturing the falsies, is to "match" the colour to the whites of your eyes, very much like picking out a colour of paint for your ceiling or whatever.

If you have no other clue about tooth shade, the white of the eyes can be used as a starting point when selecting denture teeth.

Actually this is what I was told by my ceramicist who made my implant supported smile. I chose B1 which is the whitest natural shade and looks very natural.
