I recently found out that my boyfriend of 6 years has been cheating on me, multiple times in the last few years of our relationship (thats theones I found out about). His best mate told me cos I knew my ex had been messing around by the way he was behaving towards me. A few weeks later I started messing about with my ex's best friend and ended up sleeping with him, my ex went absolutely crazy and wont speak to his mate, and is furious with me. Am I in the wrong for doing this?

NO. Don't listen to anything anyone tells you. If you had separated from your boyfriend, it was your right to sleep with whomever you liked. Cheating or no cheating. If you love this friend, go ahead. About the two guys' relationship (friendship), that's up to them. But since you had broken up, I think your ex must be more logical about it and cool with his friend.
