Not necessarily. It depends on the circumstances surrounding the lead up to sexual activity. You can have sex often, but it is not necessarily a compulsion. If it is an obsession then you find it difficult to function in daily life because of the intrusion of thoughts dealing solely with that topic. Despite your best intentions or attempts to do otherwise, you are nearly constantly measuring all that you do in terms of whether it fits in with your overwhelming thoughts about sexual activity.
