You should tell the doctor if you have a cold before you get a flu shot. They won't give you the shot until you are feeling better. The flu shot is a live virus which is intended to spurr your immune system. If you are sick - your system is compromised and you will get sicker.

depends on the person. could make you feel worse... might be no different. do you normally react adversely to the flu shot? then it'll make you feel twice as bad. personally, i am on the (slightly fringe) side of the medical population that finds vaccines to be a little risky... they stimulate your immune system unnaturally, and may be responsible for all of the strange auto-immune conditions in the population. did you know that the year with the least influenza was the year that there was a flu shot shortage and nobody got the shot? weird, huh?

You are not supposed to be given the flu shot if you have a cold. If you do this it will make the flu shot ineffective and make your cold worse.

All wrong. You can get a flue shot with a cold and I did so today with the pharmacists explicit knowledge.
