Unskilled immigration is destroying this country. We do not have enough jobs and affordable housing for our own people, our health service is stretched to the limit and crime is going through the roof.

High skilled high wage earning immigrants (doctors, academics etc) who come here able to support themselves and not need to compete with low skilled native British people for jobs are fine.

But low skilled immigrants and illegals take jobs and accommodation from British people and make life a lot harder.

Illegals are the worst. They are not even paying tax on what they earn yet they still drain the system by accessing the NHS etc. They should be deported.

What part of "illegal" dont people understand? As an illegal immigrant it is impossible to claim benefits of any kind - be it the dole, council housing, health care - absolutely any. Just ask your local taxman. So youd have to pity any illegal immigrants - no access even to basic health care. Case studies in Germany indicate some have died because of this. If we are to have a good whinge about illegal immigrants lets get our facts right otherwise we will be the ones that are out of order! Oh and decamping to Australia to escape the illegal immigrants over here doesnt solve the problem. Aussies will start whinging about you emigrating to their patch and claiming their benefits.
As for what i think about them coming here - it's God's earth not mine. My life is short enough as is and i sure dont want to spend any of it thinking up ways of how to torment and frustrate other people.

I know a lot of people are complaining about them, however I do not think those people are fully understanding why they risk themselves to some to UK. Sometimes it takes several months to come here, and they often risk their lives on the way, and get taken advantage of by people smugglers. But they do that, otherwise they can be killed, or have not future in their own countries, so they only have to starve and die along side with their families. And they do not qualify to receive any sort of benefit, as they are here illegally, and can hardly ever get a normal job, for the same reason. And often richer countries are responsible for making that situation, but the governments and people are not really interested in helping them unless there is something they can get by doing so.
I have no bad feelings towards illegal immigrants. They only want to have life like everyone else. They sometimes left their own families back home, and came here to work and send them money. They often do low paid, and tough jobs that lots of people don't bother doing. And they get talked about so badly, and treated so badly. I only wish countries like UK could help those poorer countries more, so fewer people would need to be illegal immigrants.

Immigrants is good for the country,
at least they work.
who do you think pick your grapes, apples etc?,immigrants.
They do all the degrading jobs,so most of these lazy English mother F**Ks can be on benefit.
Immigrants is one of the main reason why this country, is what it is.I think every one should take a step back and embrace what they done for the country.
They are a link in the chain and if we remove that link, the chain would get weak.
Once again my gr attitude to all immigrants, dint matter where they are from,or what job the do,even though you might seem insignificant, just remember you are truly important.

Illegal immigration is a problem but this is also fuelled by businesses within Britain who are willing to take advantage of cheap black market labour. I am against illegal immigration not only because it goes against the law but because it leads to the exploitation of those who enter the country illegally to advantage of a few.

There should be a quick and easy system to deport them. They're illegal immigrants because they do not fill the requirements to legal entry to this country. I don't mind giving anyone help if they're genuine.

what makes them illegal? if any person who is coming to this country to work is fine with me i don't care where u come from or what you do as long as you are not coming to this country to seek benefits and do nothing else.

Would rather see more efforts running terrorists or any inciting hatred to be deported from this country and take a few of the "politically correct do-gooders" with them

illegal immigrants are a bunch of nobs. no other way about it. the point being they are ILLEGAL pretty much means they shouldn't be here, but i think immigration laws in general should be tightened as there are far too many legal immigrants entering britain in my opinion, by they polish, romanian or whatever else.
