I think it's great you have neutral colors, when selling a home it's best to have those. I decorate for a manufactured home dealership. I have found that less is more when it comes to decorating. Buy you some artificial plants and trees. Plants are very inviting and warm. Don't place your furniture against the wall make your room look alive and not plain. You might add some floor lighting to accent a certain wall or furniture piece. They sell those little floor lights that just plug in at home depot. Nice furniture and drapes are a must. Clean all light fixtures and keep your floors nice and shiny. Keep your counters empty of clutter as much as possible. Bake some bread or cookies when you are showing your home. Also curb appeal is a must. If you just have a walk and entry way to your home get you some potted plants and flowers and maybe some solar lights to line your walk. Good luck on selling your home.

The exterior, be sure that you have some color, maybe in a couple of pots or something to welcome buyers in. I would clean my door, try to get any scuff or fingerprints off if it's a light colored door.

On the inside, make everything look very neat. Get rid of clutter. Again, clean fingerprints/ scuff marks off walls. Be sure each room has it's own identity. Don't have a computer sitting in your dining room area. It confuses buyers and doesn't leave a good impression. And fresh flowers do alot to brighten the inside also.

Keep everything tidy and clean, so that
it looks fresh, curtains, carpets and the lot.
Fresh flowers at a strategic position is a good idea.

Make sure that there are no overwhelming smells. If it stinks...BAD if it smells like chemicals....BAD. Also make sure that it is clean. As far as looking good people will figure out what is cosmetic I would not worry about it.
