No. I got 30 days` stay stamped in my passport on arrival in september. I then went to Singapore at the end of September and returned to Bangkok after two days. I got further 30 days permit stamped at the airport.

No mate me, Irish, and my African wife went there after being told we didnt need one by Quatar Airways, "taking you more personally" is their Logo, Laugh!!. I was allowed into the country on 1 month visa stamped at the air port to try and get her one after she was detained at the airport then I was advised to go to Hong Kong Thai Embassy by Q.Aways, Dickheads, where she was again detained and I spent four days trying plus I had to pay them for those tickets. Eventually we had to return to UK get her visa and go back. That was last year. Still no Comp or apology from those dick heads though.
