And then they talk and talk and talk for 3 paragraphs instead of getting to the point (hang on I need coffee) ok I'm back, and then they tell you every little detail about their opinion about the question instead of letting you, dear reader, answer. i mean, do they just like to type? Or do they really think we cant answer a straight ahead question without them filling in the cracks for us? Don't get me wrong, i like to ramble as much as the next guy, but some of these people just go on and on and on, sheesh! So, I'm not the type to overexplain my question, and i'll make this brief. Do you get annoyed when someone does this. Or is it ok? If it does bother you, will you stop doing it? I hope so. I only have one good rant in me per day. Peace :-)

I know, and then to read some of the answers. They go on and on about personal experiences that are only vaguely associated with the question. One time, I wrote a really long answer, and I was really into it. Just rambled on and on. The kids kept complaining that there wasn't enough frozen waffles. The dog kept pacing waiting to go out, and my husband was getting frustrated because I wasn't helping the kids or dogs, and he really has no idea where he can find more waffles. Waffles are the best invention really. When there are enough in the house, I can just sit and write Answers all morning. Kids pop those babies into the toaster, and wait, pour syrup, done. Instant breakfast. I wonder who the genius was that invented waffles? Maybe, I should ask that on YA? Anyway, I'm totally with you on those long questions.

Sometimes I let my neighbors cat, Buddy; answer for me! Come on in here Buddy! Good Kitty. Well what do you think little guy? What the freak do You mean "Live Baby Live?" Come on Buddy, this is serious shyt here, this is the Yahoo we're screwing around with; You have to answer properly. What's that? Okay, that's better. Buddy says if He could type He'd do this at home but in the mean time He's willing to let me type for Him. Any way the point that Buddy's trying to make from His perspective as a Cat is that as sentient beings with dominion over all we see in the tangible world We should be grateful such freedoms as this format to express our opinions such as they may be are afforded to us because apparently through out history ( Or at least according to Buddy the neighbors Cat ) we weren't allowed to say jack about jack and this is why so many People now a days go on and on. It's a reflection of the giddy freedom we enjoy. Well thanks Buddy, do You want me to open You a can of tuna or something? Okay but You'll have to eat it outside, sorry Cat; it grosses me out. See You Buddy!

Because some of us do this not only out of boredom but are trying to either properly convey a message or opinion. But yes, to answer your question, it annoy's me too, sometimes you also ask a simple question and some people just copy and paste a whole book for their answer.

God Bless

Great point you made there. In fact, it's quite the only "detailed' question I've thoroughly read so far ;)

they think they know the answer already. so they want to steer you in the right direction to get to their point. very annoying. altho sometimes it might be helpful to know where a person is coming from.

Plain and simple.. it's because they can, as well as maybe try to make one think about their religion in the process of doing so.
