What if the very thought of them being in the same room terrifies you?Example Stepfather thinks he is a phsychologist..analysing anyone that moves..Mum is a free spirit, who loves swearing and scotch..Father-in-law is straight laced man, no bulls*** man,very set in his ways,man of few words...mother-in-law is law abiding christian frowns upon drinking, smoking swearing, anything she doesn't approve of..and thinks her son is still2 and needs his bum wiped.Help!!!!!!

Just remember this won't change after the wedding day. Is there any way you could have your fiance remind him to possible tone it down on your special day. You want to have the spot light. But like I said when you get back from your honey moon...you will deal with this for a long time.

You can have problems with in-laws only if there is a difference in social class. But if parents don't match it's common.

You do what makes you happy not the parent. you need to live your life for you. They have lived there lives for themselves. Dont stress so much.
