i want to hang my vynil records on the wall and not ruin/scratch them but i also dont want to ruin my wall either.

Why don't you get them framed, then hang on wall just like you would a picture. That way you keep them protected.

if you hang your VINYL records without covering them, they are going to need dusting occasionally and that is definitely not good for them. what about putting them in frames? you could use clear glass or acrylic and they would hardly be noticeable if you chose the right style, or you culd go for the framed look, like winners of grammy records, for example
better yet, you can frame them with their sleeves and leave them near your stereo so you can listen to them!

I Just show this on tv 3 or 4 days ago. They used thumb tacs.

the best thing you can use is 3M command strips you can buy them at almost any hardware store or wall mart..
