My most "pleasant" memory came from my time in the 6th grade when every boy in class fell in love with the teacher. Esther D..... was her name, blond, probably 5'6", 125 lbs, always smiling, and very much in "control." The most unpleasant memory came, early in the spring when Ms. D..... announced to the class that she had gotten engaged to be married as soon as school was over for the year. The boys were absolutely devastated! (by the way, I am not a "wanda." LOL

my most unpleasant school aged memory... hmm, that would have to be 4th grade, new school. i was terrible shy as a child and when i started in the middle of the year at my new school i had the luck of missing the day that everyone in music class got up and sang, so i had to do it alone. i cried through the 'purple mountain majesty' song and didn't speak to anyone in school from embarassment for 2 years.

it is when I know that I got into my universtiy. The last my senior year in high school was a hell. Preparing for college entrance was so stressful that I almost burnt out around the time I took the entrance examination. but, I couldn't be happy after the test because I messed that up.

Probably the first day of any given school year- having nice new shoes and clothes, and new pens, pencils, notebooks, etc..... My sister used to try to walk without bending her feet- she didn't want to crease her new shoes, which was pretty funny since we walked to St Martha's and it was a mile away. She waddled like a duck until she got tired, gave up, and suffered with the creases.

Third grade. I won a trophy in a school talent show. I sang "Let Me Be There" by Olivia Newton-John. My Mother and Stepfather, who NEVER came to my school events, were both there to see it, and I can still remember beaming as I made my way to the stage to accept my award, and being congratulated as I went back to my seat.
