yep. very necessary. because we are not going to be here for ever. we have to go one day. and where we go depends on what we believe.

Yes. We need a belief that gives us identity and purpose for ourselves to livemeaningfully as human beings. As Wittgenstein, a philosopher, said: I don't know what we're here for, but I'm sure it's not in order to have a good time. This belief in something deeper defines us, and at the very least, reassures us in our darkest hours.

No.I have my morals,I obey the laws of the land as do a vast majority of people.I don't need a religion to tell me what is right and wrong.
