does anyone recognize this - and if so what was it called?
In my day it was a white hard back book - just stories, not grammar.

Marcus and Cornelia are walking in the garden.
It was a hardback reader with a pale green cover.
They all got chucked out when the new Head of Languages cleared the cupboards.
An antiquarian bookshop may be?

This come from Ecce Romani book 1 which I think was published by Oxford Press.

At school we used a series of books called 'ecce romani', but im not sure if its the same one.

try asking for it on the want it now bit of eBay, it costs nothing to ask for something , it only cost if somebody has one they are will ng to sell
