If you have a small bathroom, remember steam and water can cause damage.
Small bathrooms need good lighting, effective storage space, mirrors.
A larger bathroom/dressing room combo lends itself to coordinating features - crown molding, matching sinks/faucets, colorful walls/pictures.
Just don't get carried away with the "decorating" part and leave out the functional design.

You can put a fresh coat of paint on the wall, I'd go with a light color. If your bathroom is small, dark colors make it appear smaller. I know some people that have 2-3 sets of bathroom assessories ex: shower curtain, rug, toothbrush holder, things like that.. They switch them out monthly so they don't get tired of the same look..

Poop and pee, take a shower, brush your teeth. Oh, you mean decorating? How about a fresh coat of paint. Peach and green is good.
