Because God says in Hebrews 9:27 that it is appointed for man to die. That is the answer that comes to my mind.

who is he ? You say he killed himself . As to whether it is the easy way out, why don't you try it for yourself . I do not think any living person can answer that !

without a medical reason i.e, clinical depression or some other mental illness,suicide is a cowardly thing to do, as it devastates those left behind.

It was his time.... perhaps he felt he could not endure... Maybe too, he felt that he would see what would happen.... Only he and God knows for certain....
