Are there any websites that have lists of, and recipes for, healthy snack foods? I'm on a makeshift diet, and this is my weakest area (in between meals, on the go, etc).

Thanks,

G

You might want to try menshealth. I've seen their list of all the most healthful foods available in the supermarket. All kinds of foods are represented so you can make all the wisest choices. I looked for the link for you:

Anyway, you can check their section on nutrition for other articles on healthy eatin. Enjoy!

just make your own 'junk food' count your calories and fit them into your daily meals. make your own chips out of potatoes (on average, potatoes have 72 calories per 100g and 0.1 grams of fat) just try and bake them- or fry in some kind of low calorie spray oil (such as 'frylight' -one calorie per spray)as this is where the fat generally comes from. low calorie bread is available at the supermarket, as are healthy option burgers, but if you are just on the go, then dried fruit.(read the ingredients, as dried fruit often has cane sugar in, and that adds a lot of calories) or just general fruit and nuts. anything is an option as long as it is consumed in moderation.
Good luck!!

Just google it. But i would recommend the usual, fruit, etc. Maybe even try making your own chips with pitterbread under the hot grill. You could even put chicken or steak seasoning on them for flavor. Mmm my mouth is salavating already.
