Hi,
When it comes to these sorts of matters, I find that in time you'll both drift apart, but as you still run into each other it's probably best to keep it friendly, telling her outright to leave you alone, would not be constructive as it will hurt her, and things could then get very bitter. Try not to give to much of your private life away to her, but don't cut her off totally, as she is likely to just become more curious, when you do speak, she might let slip where she's going, if so avoid going there yourself, and be a little vague about where or who you're going out with. Maybe try explaining to her you just need a little space, at the moment, and asking her not to contact you quite as much, also suggest she may need a little space to reflect and move on? Either way, from experience, treat things with sensitivity, or you could end up with more problems, think about what you say, make sure you speak to her like a friend. And as for forgetting about her, you never will, so you shouldn't try! The more you try, the harder it will be to move on, it's not such a bad thing to remember an ex, as after all, you must have been good together at some point!
In closing, time really is a healer, and it is impossible to try to forget something, especially if it was a big part of your life at some point. Just, relax and go with the flow.
Hope this helps,
Mark.

Explain to her in a nice way (if she deserves it) that you dont want her to contact you at the moment. Explain to your friends that you dont want to see her but you cant expect them just to drop her because the two of you have fallen out. Maybe she is finding it hard to move on and you just need to tell her that there is no hope of a reconcilliation. Other than that theres not a lot you can do if you run in the same social circles.

Honestly, 3 times in 6 weeks is not that bad but I understand that you just want to get over her.
Just tell her the truth, you want some space, and you need to have that without her popping up wherever you go.
How you feel is more important right now... she can take care of herself (or friends/family will help).
Good luck!

It sounds like she is just concerned for you, but if it is a problem for you, then yes, you should explain to her how it is making you feel and let her know you need to move forward.... without her.

Block her number from your phone - if she does manage to get hold of you say "I would be grateful if you could give me some space". She will never phone again for embarrassment.

Just tell her your not ready to talk at the moment and you'll contact her when you're ready to. That way, it's in your hands.
