Which colors do you like best on a dog?

I'm getting a pomeranian and a chihuahua soon. The breeder asked if I had color preferences. Just wanted other opinions on what color they like best. So tell me what you think.

I like the black and tan for chihuahuas and the fawnish color for the Pompoms. .... The orange color I think it is, but that's just my preference. =)

Are you sure this is a breeder?

Having two breeds with puppies in lots of colours sounds more like a broker or dealer to me.

Most reputable breeders won't sell two puppies together but will recommend an age gap.

I agree that a good dog is never a bad colour but a pretty coloured poor specimen is always a poor specimen.

There's an old saying in hounds - "A good dog is never a bad color." In breeds where multiple colors are allowed, I will choose for temperament first, structure second, and color last. You have to be able to live with the dog's personality, it should have good physical soundness in order to live a long healthy life, and if you have those two qualities, regardless of color, it will be a beautiful dog!

Wolf Sable or the Wolf Sable/White for the Pom

I'm partial to the whites and creams in poms. You don't see those as often and they are beautiful when their coats are kept up.

I like the lighter color chihuahuas too.

well for the pomeranian i`d prefer the color white one and chihuahua color browns

I personally like pom's better in red ( my co-worker has 2) i don't like the look of chi's i think they are played out.

I agree with the other guy I like black and white personally. Eaither black or white is cute on both breeds.

i like a meryl or marbled color on any dog

my fav is brindle. but other ones that i like are black, sable, cream and white
