After shampooing, rinse your hair thoroughly and then apply the conditioner. Take care not to rub the conditioner into the scalp as it may feel greasy. The quantity and kind of conditioner will depend on the state of your hair - whether it is dry, oily or normal. If your hair is very tangled, you need more conditioner. If it is less tangled, you need less conditioner.
To begin with, pour out an adequate amount of conditioner onto your palms and rub them together. Then gently work the conditioner into your hair, always in the same direction i.e. from front to back. If you have basically dry hair with an oily scalp, apply the conditioner to the ends only. A quick and easy way to apply conditioner: Squeeze the conditioner into the palm of your hand and rub your palms together. Using the whole flat of your hand, massage the conditioner into your hair, working from the scalp downwards.
How Much To Use
Be liberal. The hair should feel heavy. However, you don’t want to see white blobs of product sitting on your hair. Don’t over apply it at the roots because you are very unlikely to need much of it here.
How To Apply Intensive Conditioner
Here’s a quick and easy way to apply intensive conditioner:
Squeeze the conditioner into the palm of your hand and rub your palms together.Using the whole flat of your hand, massage the conditioner into your hair working from the scalp downwards.
Wrap your head in a towel (if you’ve got long hair, tie it back in a loose knot first). This works by keeping the head warm and helps to prevent moisture loss from the hair. When you’re ready to wash intensive conditioner out, remove the towel, comb through the hair again with a wide-toothed comb and rinse thoroughly.

Deep conditioning, generally, is any hair treatment that is supposed to moisturize and protect hair. Deep conditioning usually refers to hot oil treatments. My stylist gives me one for around an hour (even though the package says 15 minutes).

Hot oil massages: Warm 2 tsp. of olive oil and 2 tsp. coconut oil and gently massage every part of the scalp for 10-15 minutes. Rinse a towel in hot water, wipe and wind the hair around the head as it cools. Repeat 2 or 3 times to issue total saturation. After that, shampoo and rinse well. It is good for brittle dry hair.

Hot Caster oil massage: Warm ½ cup of castor oil, massage into scalp and gently comb it. Bind the hair with hot towel on the head, wait for 30 minutes. Shampoo and rinse. As it is home made is so good to use for scanty hair.

Clove oil honey massage. Stir well ½ cup of green olive oil with 1 cup of liquid honey. Shake vigorously. Keep the mixture to settle for a day or two. Massage into the scalp and comb it not touching the scalp. After massaging cover hair with plastic shower cap. Make it air tight to let the heat penetrate, leave like that for 20 to 30 minutes. Then shampoo and rinse well. It is good for dark hair to keep it shining and lustrous.

Take care!

Actually it's some kind of hair treatment/ mask you find in stores or homemade, have them sit on your hair once a week for around 30mins (I do longer than the instruction most of the time) and then wash it off. It's good in saving dry hair.
