Sure. My spouse has Hepatitis C and we're still married and have a healthy sexual relationship. We're just extra careful to use condoms.

If someone has opened to you that is really nice! Looking at it most people would give you the one off answer as "HELL NO".
However it is not as clear cut and simple as that! Regardless of the issues at hand your emotions are still working and you can not turn them off at the drop of the hat.
That said - you would need to evaluate the risk involved for yourself! The other individual has nothing to loose really. It is not really a clear cut issue when dealing with emotional issues which is why sometimes people get into a lot of trouble!
On a personal note - I would not continue the relationship in a romantic way, I would just stay friends with the person or at least I would try to - sometimes it's not so easy.
Because of the risk involved taking the relationship to another level would be detrimental to both of us. The last thing I would want is to get sick and then spend the remainder of my life angry and bitter. But that is my opinion.
You have to do what you think is best for you! Read up on the subject. Talk to a Doctor - have all the facts before you make you decision.
And on a final note just be sensitive about the whole issue.....
Good luck
Xx

Yes, yes & yes. These folk who are saying to stay away from positive people are truely messed up. Just because someone is positive doesn't mean they don't deserve love, sex and all of the things the rest of us do. Get info, be careful and fall in love. I've friends who are HIV positive and have been living healthy lives for many years, have partners and have sex. I've one friend who is a gay male with HIV. He has been 'married' for at least ten years with regular sex and his partner doesn't have it. Education and sensitivity is the key. Good luck

Positive what? Positive personality? Positive that he wants to go out with you? HIV Positive? What are you talking about? I'm assuming that you mean some sort of STD positive. And even with a condom, NO! Condoms break.

Honestly....... NOPE.
I wouldn't wanna get caught in something as complicated as that.
Good thing I don't have to worry about that with my boyfriend once we're married.
