Are you a native English-speaker. If you are (or your husband is), the person whose first language is English should talk to her in English all the time.

If none of you is a native speaker, and even if one of you is, you should buy her programs in English. You should be able to buy series for kids over the Internet. listen to an English speaking radio. Buy DVDs in English. Buy songs in English. Maybe buy recorded kids' stories in English that she can listen to at night. She is still too young, but the sooner you start, the better.

At what age is she suppose fto go to school in your country? She'll probably still be young enough to pick it up, anyway. So if you just add those materials, she should be fine. Don't forget to still read her stories in your native tongue, if you're not English! And books from your country as well. Just get her everything in both languages.

The earlier the better. At this age their brains are like sponges and they will absorb anything and everything they hear. Whatever language you want your child to speak get her to mix with that group of children. Children do not know the difference. They speak what I call 'children's language' as she gets older she will pick up words and start making sense of the vocabulary...what's more the language. There is no reason why she cannot learn two languages at the same time. Here's a tip whatever you do never let your daughter forget your language...that is one tradition she will carry on and give to her children someday.

I might warning nonetheless that possibly he must have consulted the moms and dads earlier than he introduced up that subject in Sunday School. The child surely did not understand what intercourse used to be so he used to be curious to understand. Well he bought his reply and You went ballistic? How hypocritical. I found out intercourse ed whilst I used to be 10. I bought my interval then as good. It helped me considering I don't have identified what it used to be in any other case, finding out it in tuition. My moms and dads definite did not say NOTHING approximately it. You are not able to look after her eternally you understand. Your daughter goes to invite you ways you made her HOW are you going to reply? Ohhh mommy and daddy love every different very so much? Best to get her proficient, no less than.

Most kids don't go to school until they are about 4-6 years old. Before that they just can't handle it.

If you want your baby to get exposure to English, what about hiring an English-speaking babysitter?

child care at first so she will feel comfortable with others who don't speak same language as her, and then preschool and KG -she'll start learning a little english, cuz my niece used to speak gujrati at home but when she started listening to her classmates, she learned it and now she's almost 10.

here's an idea.....try using that language at home that way both of you get experience in talking it. And then when you need to yell at her and she has friends over, no one will ever really know what you are talking about.
