Being single is great, you don't have to answer to anybody and you don't have to worry, but being single sometimes you get lonely and want to be with somone, it's weird and hard to answer i wish i had a better answer.

Like most people I've got a foot in both sides of the argument. I love my house being tidy, I like being able to watch what I like on TV, I like being able to do what I want.

However, as I have a little boy, I am quite tied to the home (apart from work) and do not have much social life due to this. Therefore I can't really enjoy the single life as some do. Also it can be quite lonely once my son is tucked up in bed and it would be nice having someone to chat too.

Glad you're enjoying it, make the most of it because I'm sure you'll soon find someone who makes your heart flip over and you'll be in a relationship all coupled up before you know it.

Have fun!

I've never dated because I am surrounded 12 hours a day by people who behave appallingly, that I am put off by any thought of being associated with them. Looks are important when you're walking down the street with xyz, but they behave differently to how you might imagine them to be. I went to his house once and it was a total mess, imagine having a family with someone who eats 6 weeks leftovers and treats the tin can like a plate? Also, being single means you avoid people getting bored with you, I think relationships are perfect if you see the other half some days of the week, I wouldn't want to be with them every night and on weekends too, I like being single. A male flatmate is perfect for this reason, he has his room, you have yours, and he can accompany you on long shopping trips.

I made the choice to be single 2 years ago.. its great.. doesn't mean you have to be celibate though.. the influence of society tells us that in order to be happy, or normal, you have to have a relationship... Happiness does not come from another person, it comes from your own perception... I lived in a monastery for 5 months studying, and the monks there were the happiest people i'd ever met... The reason for this, is that their goal isn't for desiring material things, but instead to help others find happiness... just means a higher goal is very important...

I don't mind being single. Not much choice been travelling for along time and everyone you meet has somewhere else to go if they want to keep on seeing the world..

When I was single, I was happy.
I didn't have to deal with such losers that created nothing but drama in my life.
I knew God would bring me that person when the timing was right.
I was in no rush at all.

But little did I know that the one was right under my nose the entire time. :P And I'm happy about that too.

its sometimes ok to be single, but at a time in ur life, u feel like u need someone, to understand ur needs, feelings etc.
iv had both times, being indulged and alone, i think being alone is better.
