For me, Doristan nose spray works the best. I don't know for you...but you can try. Probably the best thing to do is to ask pharmacist at your local pharmacy. If you don't like the dust, you could use swiffer dusters. It catches lots of dust and I use it often, it helps me a lot. I hope this helps...

yes yes yes. My son and i suffer from severe hayfever and finally we have 100% relief from an over the counter nasal spray called Beconase. you have to start using it about 1 month before the hayfever season hits, or alternatively you can use it for dust or other allergies but it could take a few weeks to kick in, but when it does, man can you notice the difference. It a spray a day, thats it and it doesnt taste nasty and it isnt addictive like some of the other sprays available. like drixine or otrivin etc which makes you dependent on it after a week of use cause if you stop using it your nose stays blocked up, have done this so i know, and there is a warning on their bottles as well. So for long term help, i suggest you give beconase a go, we have been using it for a year on and off and we havent had as much as a sneeze or watery eyes. Amazing but true!!!!

Colloidal Silver in a spray is the best thing to have around expecially if you are getting frequent sinus infections. It will rid of you of any of those. My husband use to get sinus infections quite often and when he started using the Colloidal Silver spray at the first signs of one it would go away. Now he hasn't had one in over a year. I prefer for just regular old allergies Flonase. It tends to work the best for me. Yes it has a horrible taste going down your throat, but many of them aren't plesant. The colloidal silver has no taste, and is all natural so it won't hurt you at all. Safe for when you are pregnant, for newborns, pets, etc. Plus it is good all around for any viruses, cuts, wounds, ear infections, eyes infections, and the list goes on. And no it won't turn you blue. That man that did turned blue was making his own in such high concentrates and drinking a boatload everyday for over 14 years- hummm wonder why why he turned blue. leave those things to the professionals. The Colloidal Silver you get is completely safe and low dose and you don't use it all the time only once in a blue moon when you need it. Anyhoo, hope you find something that works for you.

I was prescribed something called Nasonex as a "booster" to supplement antihistamines. The active ingredient is mometasone furoate. I try to avoid using it as I've heard that nasal sprays are not particularly good for your nose, but it does do the job when needed, both for my summer hayfever and my winter rhinitis.
Also, try putting a dab of vaseline around each nostril. It traps the dust/pollen/whatever.

One of the best nose sprays that I have found is the perscription Flonase (spelling?). It's a hassle for it to be a perscription, but the results are well worth it.
The spray has eliminated any need that I have had for otc pills for pet, pollen, and dust allergies.
