Omg cats are the most unpredictable and independent animal to me. I do not at all hate cats but i only like them anymore for an outside barn cat. We live on a good sized farm

Because cats are, by nature, nocturnal creatures, which means they generally get most of their sleep during the day and are more active at night.

It may not seem like this because cats spend about 14-18 hours a day sleeping, but they are actually up for most of that during the night.

It's just the fact that they're domesticated that they're up as much as they are during the day.

Cats are naturally nocturnal. Maybe if you are really active during the day and not so much at night, he might just not like all the noise and movement.
If his sleeping habits are during the day instead of when you sleep, he could be grumpy you are interupting his napping.
Try thinking about what you do differently during the day than you do at night that could cause him to not like being around.

Cats are nocturnal by nature. Also, cats sleep up to 20 hours a day.

Because cats are nocturnal animals, sometimes grumpy in the day, and very playful at night. It's ok. it's just a cat being a cat. no worries. just accept it, and leave him alone in the daytime, lol.
