This is a good question...Germans and quite of few European countries drink beer in the morning on a regular basis......It was a tradition passed down through the years ago when it was actually more sanitary to drink beer rather than water.....so next time you want a beer in the morning and someone gets upset...tell them your just trying not to get sick=)

As with any other time-the context is necessary to say whether it's wrong or not. If you drink in the morning because you crave a drink it may be a problem. If you simply feel like a beer it's probably no big deal.

Some people don't.

To quote Johnny Cash ("Sunday Morning going down) from memory ...

"The beer I had for breakfast tasted good
so I had another one for dessert."

When I worked graveyard shift, I'd sing this to myself as I guzzled my sleepin' ale.

Many cultures, BTW, who are familiar with hard liquor, believe that beer is a 'soft' drink, and not a drink that an alcoholic would drink. They would also suggest that your question is flawed.

It's a sign of alcoholism: if you need a drink in the morning you're in sad shape and probably a alcoholic. A person who isn't an alcoholic might have a beer with friends, at night, after work, but they can do without it, too. An alcoholic is looking for that drink, and after eight hours of sleep he/she really wants it.

Because most people live normal nine to five jobs. I work third shift and drink in the mornings sometimes. It's my happy hour.

i think of late afternoon is the perfect time to drink. a rather good variety of time to apply the exhilaration in a social placing, to burn off the energy, and in case you pass overboard, you may artwork off your hangover by utilising bedtime besides. it relatively is summer season, so i do no longer see a difficulty with the morning the two. Cheers chum.
