Actually genius, the other countries are scared to fight back. You have cowards hiding behind women and children in Iraq, not wearing uniforms - I suppose that's your idea of a hero, right Slick? Saddam had - and the key word here being HAD - the second largest ground army in the world. That was before We (The USA) completely destroyed it. Educate yourself before you let you prove your utter ignorance to all these nice people on Answers. Have a nice day, Slick!

You must be French. The British were not really weaklings. The American Indians fought pretty savagely. Hell we even fought each other. I would not consider mexico during the 1800's to be weaklings. Germany put up quit a good fight, twice. Japan was quite the adversary, we almost lost. A lot of good troops died in Korea. Viet Nam alot of the battles were won, but we did lose the War, those little pricks were not exaclty weak. Stupid people should not reproduce, so please use a condom.

Because of late we haven't felt/been threatened by a superpower is the simplest answer. I know you are a Russian or Russian sympathizer. So I'll explain it to you in little words you can understand. When the US does go another country it is to fix something the world or a big part of it sees as a threat or wrong like Somalia, Iraq. OR because they have done something or are hiding some person or persons that had done something harmful to the US, like Panama and Afghanistan. I know this is confusing being a Russian sympathizer since Russia is more into the go in kill everyone and take over attitude, like they tried in Afghanistan and Chechnya. And like all of the old Eastern block countries after WWII. Hope this helps clear thing up in your foggy little brain.

really...well it seems that Japan was quite an adversary and it looked like the boys in europe were havin a little bit of difficulty with German there in the 30's and 40's. So would they be speaking German right now had we not stepped in to help? Well we know at least France would anway. We do not pick a fight with anyone, we've only defended ourselves and our allies. If you're referring to the current situation in Iraq, we are defending a lot of nations by trying to bring peace to the middle east and rid the are of terrorists that are causing problems all over the world. Be happy someone is protecting you, I am.

Actually, you are way off there. Who spends the most money on humanitarian efforts? The United States. It is true that we recieved bad intelligence (from the U.N.) but we would fight any country that launched a legitimate attack against us. No country can match the U.S.'s strength militarily and our government has secret weapons light years ahead of anyone else. Who do you think commands all of the U.F.O.'s that are spotted around the world? Aliens? In your dreams.

I seriously debated with my self whether to "dignify" such an "stupid I say stupid" question....
Any way;...
First you are not an American that is obvious. You must belong to one of those hate everyone/blame everyone for your inability to exist countries and their people.
When ever Americans have seen the need to go to battle, it was always with "a true" enemy.
America does not, has not and never will pick on a defenseless country. It is those "defenseless you are blabbing about "that our soldiers have spilled their blood to defend and dignify"
The World does not speak as you...for you are a scum/a maggot/and a warm...there I admit that your ignorance in History of the World and my America really upset me me.
I will stop here, for you deserve no answer, only a ......
Go back to your Mullah and tell him I said the above...then take the pc of 20 day old bread he gives you to eat, so he can go and have "his steak" in his house you ignorant/low lying yellow belly worm....EOM

While I tend to agree with your assertion, you're not really asking a question, are you?

Why bother soapboxing / trolling? You're certainly not hoping for information which will assist you in reaching a determination, as you have already reached one.

Questions here are far more interesting when the 'asker' doesn't already think they know the answer.

Where have you been Dufas? We have fought many strong countries through-out our history and have won every war. If we only picked on weak countries, we would send sissies like you for those wars. What countries have we fought that didn't fight back? You must be really ignorant.

I would put an equal number of United States Soldiers against any other country and bet on the US winning. This is without planes, tanks, etc.

Oh, and kiss my @ss!
