I'm a Christian and we don't have to pray but we would like to whenever we want, there isn't a minimum of how many times we should pray a day. I believe that God is hearing me and even if I don't get an answer, what are we supposed to looking for. Oh yeah, and yes, I am a true beleiver of God.

God(ALLAH) is only our God. WHich has the power and which we should worship and we should ask help only to him in every case. Because it is only he who is capable of helping us. When someone will really pray with heart. God will hear him and will give him what he want but in some cases the wish is not good for the asker and ALLAH only knows it. As we worship Allah so we also pray to him and if sometimes our pray is not accepted andALLAH will give it reward in any other matter or in Life after death as a gift of asking our help to him.

I don't know what I'm thinking.
I pray with maybe .1% of my heart
Yeah, I believe he hears me. He's not deaf you know.
No, I pray because I truly think He's there. *sighs*
I don't pray 5 times a day.
I get answers all the time when I pray and when I don't pray. It's a matter of listening. God can be annoying when He wants your attention.

I like your question Creative. You created a good one for us. When I pray I think That as I speak the words God is doing it[what I say] right then. He really does. See, Creative, it happens in the spirit first and we don't see it, that is when some doubt and lose it. We need to walk by faith until we see it in the natural. We will see it. When we doubt that God heard or did it, it stops the blessing from reaching us. If we pray for healing, the Holy ghost here says, you are healed then God says you are healed. They are always in unity. They say the same things. He sees the Holy Ghost praying, He don't see us. So we get healed in the spirit first. Then when we go to bed and[ feel] sicker, we doubt that we got healed. Believe me, we got healed. It is impossible not to get healed when you ask God. We have to keep on believing by faith, thanking God even when we feel worse. We will get better. When we don't get our prayers answered it is always our fault, not Gods.

the deepest of problems of self, world and others. thoughts of ways god could help while man can still have freewill. Like doing things or inspiring people to make the right steps.

Also thoughts of doing works on a deeper level, like how to help the so called helpless etc.

influence via experience.
