when i log into windows and open a folder i am unable to create a new folder by clicking on the option button provided on d left but d option of right clicking an creating a new folder option is working fine........ i m using WIN XP HOME EDITION.

Reinstall Windows. Only option available to you. But there is no button on the left of explorer from where you can crate a new folder.
