What are police supposed to do I mean its better than shooting thier criminal azzes!

I was at a convention where they were demonstrating a tazer on you, but it was set at 70% of what the police use (for safety reasons). You had to sign a waver and then they'd taze you to let you see what it feels like.
Let me tell you, even at 70% I was really surprised how much it hurts. And everyone we saw doing it were dropping and really feeling pain.

The tasers hurt. Hardened criminals should not be crying though. The police deal with way too much on their jobs. They should not have to go without some protection and ways to expedite people from their messes.

You are totally in the dark. A little shock? A person with physical problems unknown to them can actually die from being shocked by these things. If you still think it is just a little shock, have someone shock you with a taser, and tell me again, that it is just a little shock.

Quite a number of people have died from being tasered, believe it or not. Certainly, a taser is better than a handgun, but there are severe consequences to their overuse.

Some people it doesnt bother because they use that and pepper spray etc on themselves to become used to the effects.

um, lick a plug in and take it times like, 1000 and then tell me it doesn't hurt. Those things aren't little batteries, they are designed to immobilize someone....
