to lick & eat plastic bags (all types of bags). I usually find them in her waste when cleaning her litter. I hide the bags but she finds them regardless. Anyone has a cat that eats bags?

My cat likes to lick them. Plastic bags are often made out of animal material and cats smell this and try to eat it. It's not good for cats to eat it so try and keep bags stored away, out of her reach.

I have 2 cats but only one of them likes to lick plastic bags and she will eat string. Some plastic bags have a light powdered coating to them and for cats it has a sweet taste.

Some of my cats enjoy sleeping and licking plastic bags, but have not attempted to eat them. If there is one close by, then they will drag it into the litter box while they're scratching.

That's weird...I never heard of a cat doing that...How old is the cat? Eating plastic bags can't be good for him...I say, put more effort to hide those bags from him.

My cat loves sleeping on bags because it keeps in heat and makes sounds that are very similar to their toys. You should contact your local vet and tell them what he/she is doing. If you want, you could try putting contact paper over the place you keep them. Cat's hate contact paper because it sticks to them. I used this method to keep my sisters cat from jumping on her glass desk. It worked. There is also some products that taste really sour that you could spray on the bags( they shouldn't smell). You can buy them at Petco or Walmart. If nothing works, just don't keep plastic bags in the house(try paper or boxes).
It is VERY important your cat or any animal doesn't have access to plastic bags because they can suffocate or in your case eat it. They will get wraped up in it as easily as a young child.

My cats have licked the bags because there's a coating on them they like, but eating them is very dangerous.

My cat likes to play with plastic bags but so far I've only seen holes in the bags and nothing in the kitty litter. He also likes to unplug lamp cords etc.. but doesn't chew on the cords. (so far)
I buy all kinds of toys for him and he likes plastic bags, electrical cords, pens, push pins, nails, (anything I don't think he should play with), but he always manages to find them anyways.

Oddly enough when I read "my cat likes" I thought "to lick bags," because we have one in particular that likes to. Which I find very odd. Kitty drugs? lol (Luckily he doesn't eat them.)

to fix that problem paint rotten/sour apple on the bags, cats hate the taste of rotten apple

No, and this is very dangerous, because it can block her intestine and die. Please hide the bags better. Surely there are cupboards inaccessible for the cat!
