Who gave you the right to make such sweeping statements about Indian muslims?.
I am an Indian & have muslim parents. The muslims I know support India because whatever they have got & whatever they are is due to their motherland.
Ask yourself - What has Pakistan ever given to India or to Indian muslims other than having them linked to terrorism.
Further, cricket/hockey matches are not religious battles between Indian hindus & pakistani muslims. They are just matches between 2 countries & you should support the country to which you are a citizen of.
By the way, exactly which place are you from?

Hello!! Ofcourse you should support the country you live in... that is YOUR country... dont know - why do you even have to think about it... where does pakistan come into picture for your loyalties? just because its name is Pak - istan?? if the question would have been to choose between some holy place for Islam and India then you could have questioned - my country or my religion??? pakistan is just a small country - with majority of muslim population - so it does not become PAK in any sense. their policies are rotten - they treat other communities badly - treat indian muslims as MUJAHID (Islam does not allow muslims to be treated differently) if a muslim is born in India or bangladesh or in Arab - they are all same in the eyes of Allah... they are all brothers - how does pakistan treat them differently - it is the most un-islamic country - especially when you think of their terrorism support - islam never allows to kill anybody - islam is peace loving religion - like any other good religion....
As far as cricket match goes - if your family is playing with a neighbor's family - whom would you support... i would say that i will support my OWN family... and thats what your own country should be for you... SAD that you and 90% of your other community members fail to recognize that - they are traitors to their own country - so they will not be forgiven by Islam and Allah... All the best to you....

How can you even ask a question like this?Religion is not the be all and end all of life.Loyalty to your motherland, where your forefathers were born and you were born should be in your blood.Whether you are Muslim or not you will always be an Indian.Always remember that.Pakistan is just another muslim country like the whole of middle east, bangladesh, indonesia, parts of africa, etc.Your Roti, kapda ,makan are in India, wake up man.Pakistan is not going to give you any of these for all your loyalty.

Go with your heart and try to go with the truth !!!
Well Pakistan is a muslim country but u know the number of muslims living in india is more than pakistan, i think about 200 million, while its 120 million in Pakistan( sorry if the figure is not accurate) , dont feel bad while u support your own country coz still you are living with large numbers of muslims..and india has second biggest population of muslims after indonesia....so u know you are not wrong in supporting your own country....
and as u had asked this question in cricket forum , for that too i would say go with your heart....try to sort out what u like, see ! we people can not guide you properly you will have to help you out yourself. ,you are free to choose, i dont like my governament policies they are anti islamic and i hate my presidant , because he is not at all a good muslim,i m not bound to support his policies when he is wrong while i m living in this country because i know i love my country , same i like democracy of india becuase my country is lacking it, ad i dont feel bad because i know i like something good.so just pick the good things and support that.if you like Pakistani team, go with it, and if not you are not bound to, and you are not betraying your muslim community....
Just be a good muslim, and dont be botherd and get yourself confused with such minor things.
Good luck
