Would you be willing to [donate your organ] knowing you will die, and die for someone else if they ask you to so they could live? This is really a matter of the heart question.

Not that I'm holier then thou, but I have to say I'm very saddened to see these sorts of responses, limiting ourselves to close family and friends and children. We are to have the agape love (unconditional for all men, woman, and children) the Jesus had for us. There are plenty of Christians who would die for you on your worst day through the grace of God. God's love in us, his spirit in us, gives us the will and the power to do such things. Would I die for anyone, it would be a pleasure. What greater gift can we be given then to die a death likened to that of Jesus, who died for every stranger, loner, king, priest, president, homeless sojourner, naughty boy, nasty girl, spiteful Willy, and doubting Thomas. His enemies especially, while we were yet sinners he died for us.

So, If we are to be like Christ, we too should be willing, through the grace imparted to us from God, to die for anyone.

Agape Love

God Bless You,

I am a true believer in God but I would NOT die for anyone (unless its my family). I would donate an organ depending what organ though, ie. kidney, liver, etc, organs where you can survive with just one. But other than giving a vital organ out that depends on my life I would not do.

For just about anyone, including myself, it would depend entirely on the person of whom you'd be donating the organ to. For my wife and children, YES, in a heartbeat. But if I were on the street, and someone was threatning to kill a child, even if the child were not mine, I would instantly give my own life to save the life of a child. Why not give them the chance to live and experience life, just as we have??

For my children or grandchildren only. But I know they wouldn't ask me that question because they love me as much! For someone else I would donate an organ (like a kidney) if it wasn't life-threatening.

If I knew that they were not a Christian I would. They would need more time to find God. I found Him and cant wait to meet Him. After all Jesus died for me when I was an unborn sinner.
