Because He said so. Good enough for me. Thank you and God Bless.

Due to the limitations of the English language, we gannot tell the difference between "gender" (a linguistic term) and "sex" (a biological term). So everything has to have a sex. The most appropriate pronoun, the neuter "it", is considered disrespectful, so we're left with "he" or "she". Our patriarchal history gives greater regard to the male pronoun, so we say "he" because "she" would be a distraction.
"He" has been regarded as the more inclusive pronoun, but our current sensitivities have changed. What we really need is an inclusive pronoun that embodies both male and female characteristics. But no suitable pronoun has emerged. In fact, since it would only be used for God, it wouldn't be worthwhile. So we're probably best off dropping pronouns entirely. Just say "God".

He is above gender terms. Remember that sexual differences exist to assist in breeding; God doesn't need to breed, and when he wants a Son he just sends the Holy Spirit hehehe

Becuase He said so in His word. Eve was created for Adam. If God was a she Eve would have been created first. God created man in His image.

God is not a he or a she. If God were, the petty ego conflict within would
have caused God to destroy us long ago! God is Complete!

Surprisingly God does not have a gender. I don't know how that is possible, and I'm Christian, but God does not have a gender so God is neither a he or a she.

Because the Bible clearly stated that we were created in HIS image. Throughout the whole Bible, God is referred to as a He, which means He is a male.

Hi RK,
I am in no ways very wise... but, I try to share what I know.....
Here is what I have come to understand.......
The woman was not given the same blessing as a man... A woman is born with a set number of empty "shells" on either side of her body... and these wither with time as she ages....... These empty "shells" are like "homes" waiting to be inhabited...... They represent the body in its empty stage..... Each month one of them is plucked from its "tree-like" structure and cast out into the void without life.......
Much like the body of a man whose spirit is no longer within it..... The body "houses" the spirit......
On the other hand.......
A man in the passion of his excitement creates that "living" thing.... and that living thing searches for that "home" which is of woman...... It is not born with the man, but is quickened with life in the passion of creation........
That living thing (sperma) is life..... without it, there is no spirit....
it is in men to create this living thing.......
So, it is with God....... A woman cannot do this...... from her comes the body.... from the man comes the spirit......
And so it is with God........ who is spirit.... A masculine spirit that life is come.....
Your sister,
Ginger

Truth is, God is Spirit and has no sex. But He has chosen to reveal Himself using the masculine term.
