By His grace not by our works Jesus has granted us eternal salvation not a salvation that is subject to our not sinning (see Heb 10;10,14). Since salvation is solely by grace what we do whether righteously or sinfully will not have any effect on it. If our actions (ie our sins) affect the state of our salvation then salvation is no longer by grace (Rom 11:6). Jesus has paid for the judgement of all our sins, past, present and future, on the cross and therefore God will not and cannot punish us for the sins which Jesus has paid for on our behalf. God will be unjust to punish us for the sins which Jesus has already been punished on our behalf. If God takes away our salvation because we sin then God is punishing us for our sin which should not be so. That guy's interpretation is not right. If a Christian's understanding of scriptures is not correct he can see the wrong visions and give the wrong prophecies. I see this happening all the time. Since our salvation is secured we should honor God by not sinning so that we can bring kingdom living on earth. Our sins affect our living on earth. They do not invalidate our salvation, our heavenly reward.

there was another person by the name of Betty Malz that had a like type of experience. she has written books about it. she died for about a little less than a half an hour or so, if i remember correctly. in that case, it was the 1950s so it may have been that they pronounced her dead and then she came to life a short time after and they didnt realize it until a half a hour later when she stirred.

yeah, i dont know if it is true or not, the feeling of the story doesnt "feel" quite right, 42 hours is an awful long time.

about the heaven thing, well the ndes that many people have experienced are what many people would show as a witness to something after death. there appears to be positive ones and negative ones. (heaven and hell). but some say it is related to effects from the brain during the death process, lack of oxygen or whatever is going on when the heart stops.

there are number of religions that have this aspect to the afterlife. about all the dogma and the rest, i dont know. i think it is something that each person has to work out.

I see many problems with this report. First, I agree with you that if all of this were true, I doubt if any human would be in heaven.

The LORD promised that if anyone believes in HIM, they will never die. When we accept the payment that Jesus made for our sin, GOD adopts us as his child and adoption is not conditional. NO this does not mean we can accept the LORD and then do anything we want to do and be saved...there is a promise of chastisement. (read the 2nd link)

I have included a few links that I think will explain more of this.. the first is how we are saved to begin with and why some may think they are saved when they are not

The 3rd link shows why I believe salvation is secure.

Oh..one last thing, Jesus told us that the rich man was told that no one could go back from the dead to give a report to the living but I do know satan would have something to gain if he gave half truths about what it is like after we die.

I believe it becuase it makes sense. How can we enter a pure heaven when we have grudge or burdens on our backs. Jesus helped those in need so should we, Jesus put clothes on poeples back so should we, Jesus fed the hungry so should we. As poeple of God our duty is to follow Christs life as close as possible. While we teach salvation is accepting the Lord and savior we miss the part about following him by his side. This is a very good insight thank you for opening my eyes.

This is a very interesting story. I have heard of people that die and come back and almost all the storys sound the same.
Anyway, he is right, we have to forgive if we expect to be forgiven. We have to follow the Lords ways. We can't just be saved and carry on with a sinful life.

I've read a lot of things.
It could be true. If it is, it wouldn't harm anyone to follow those simple suggestions. We should all watch what we say and how we say it and be aware of the condition of our hearts. Be so ready to forgive. It's a good lesson. Value the gift our Saviour gave us and don't take it for granted. Awesome. I'm going to go hug my kids now.

it relatively is exciting that each and every faith has it very own innovative and prescient of Heaven - the nirvanna and exhilaration of afterlife - and yet they're all so individual to the lifestyle. i think of the main possibly situation is we return from wence we got here, to an altered state of being, this is so beautiful yet unfathomable from this vantage factor. i think of the religions attempt to describe that, yet in words they think of human beings will understand. I stand up to the thought we only die off to nothingness - it variety of feels a pointless waste of all this time that way. Makes me experience like a SeaMonkey or something. Peace!

Hi
...Keep in mind that pastor Ekechukwu did not stand condemned just because of his one sin of unforgiveness. There were other sins he was confessing in the hospital as he was dying, but his unforgiveness annulled his prayers in which he was asking for forgiveness. If we expect God to forgive us, we must forgive others. That is what Jesus said.

Are you ready to stand before Jesus, sincere and blameless
**yes, i did read it.
And........YES, IT IS TRUE ABOUT IF WE DIE IN OUR SINS WE CANNOT GO TO HEAVEN, THAT HELL(THE LAKE OF FIRE) IS THE ONLY OTHER RESULT FROM OUR OWN ACTIONS...FOREVER. =/

You see???????
This is why we need to encourage one another.
It is foolish to CHOOSE to be an unbeliever/follower that is.....you/others are making it more diificult FOR YOUR OWNSELVES, and sometimes hard on others.
WE believers do care, and are grateful GOD mad a way of escape through 4giveness.
**We are no better than you, except that we acknowledge the Lord and our DAILY NEED FOR HIM.
All for now......be blessed http://www.evangelicaloutreach.org/index.html

I only read enough of this to see that he had a near death experience. Naturally, he would see the things he saw--he believes in those things, so he formed them himself (as we all do..."It is done unto you as you believe"). These images fall away to reveal the truth, and the truth is infinitely better than the twisted beliefs of a disheartened worldview.

Yes, your interpetation is right - it is rather long, but I really did read it.

all have sinned and fallen short - whether anger, or lying or whatever.
But salvation is through Grace, not our actions.

trust in Jesus and you will go to heaven.
while still on Earth do john 14:15 - "If you love him, obey him":
you will screw up at times, but that is what Jesus is for. to lean on him
